Here’s The Deal
If you know us in real life, you’ve absolutely heard us talk about our love of Tromsø, Norway at least once, but more likely twice or three times.

Tromsø shocked us both on our first visit in Spring. Despite it being the end of Northern Lights season, making them super rare to see, luck was on our side and we saw them EVERY SINGLE NIGHT of our weeklong stay.

Tromsø is the largest, most northern city where humans live. In the Arctic Circle and close to the North Pole, it is literally a Hallmark movie dream! Featuring the best salmon we’ve ever eaten, incredible landscape and nature views, there is so much to experience in Tromsø.

The people of Tromsø have been the kindest people we’ve ever met - which is also what makes the country so LGBTQ+ affirming. Norwegians are a prideful people who spend a lot of energy making sure their guests feel welcomed.

Not to mention, Tromsø is where Lu popped the question! Literally on top of the world, with the most perfect scenery, we decided “LesGetLucky” forever.

Logistically, getting to Tromsø can be tedious (a few layovers, depending on where you’re coming from), but it’s absolutely worth the travel.

We adore Tromsø so much that we’ve been twice, and have plans to make it every year… including Arctic Pride.

PS… The Vikings have an interesting connection to Caribbean food culture!
