Hereβs The Deal
Banff was a place we dreamed about via pictures in magazines and on the social medias. Incredibly blue lakes and landscapes with beauty beyond comprehension, we knew that weβd be making a visit.
A flight from Atlanta to Calgary, followed by a one-hour car ride into Banff, found us in a magical place that quickly made it to our βWe Love It Hereβ list.
Our quick little trip took us there during Banff Pride, so the city was colorful and full of Alphabet Mafia spirit. Over four days, we did a little bit of everything - hikes in the mountains, walks by rivers, waterfalls, all the Alberta beef our stomachs could handle, and mountain views that took our breath away.
There are plenty of outdoor things you can do for free or low cost, and there are always things happening in the main part of town. But I wouldnβt call this a βlow budgetβ trip - depending on where youβre traveling from and how you like to travel.
Also, the Fairmont Banff Springs is PERFECTION. Whether you want a hotel that has everything you need on the property or youβre a fiend for the views and luxury, youβll find it right there.
The people, the food, the nature, the spirit of Banff - itβs a place you gotta go.
